Houston’s own Huston–Tillotson University (HTU) is a historic, vibrant campus located in East Austin. The entire trip from start to finish was marvelous! Registration was smooth and payment options were a great plus. I appreciate that every detail was covered. The accommodations were impeccable!! The resort offered lots to do and everything was upscale and welcoming. It was a pleasure connecting with my travel family and meeting new colleagues. The sessions were exceptional with great information. The speakers gave me inspiration and I am excited about moving forward. My two word summary: "extremely impactful".

I really enjoyed the trip as a whole. It was catered to our specific group. Never a dull moment as well as great customer service.

Austin was great and everything worked out smoothly with transportation to and from the resort. 

10 Year Anniversary Reunion  - RIU Cancun

I’m EXTREMELY grateful for Austin Chapman for assisting me and my brothers on this trip. From the pre-payment setups, to the transportation pickups to and from the airport, to the ease of checking into the resort, everything was smoothly done. I can’t wait to book with him again.

Austin was very professional with his organization of trip payment details and made the experience really stress free. He was very knowledgeable in answering any random questions that I had at the time. 

Meeting Austin in person made the experience 10x better as he was welcoming, high energy, and made sure that customers left with a vacation experience that was worth remembering.  

Please note that I’m speaking not only for myself, but also on behalf of my fraternity brothers. We had an absolute blast on this trip! We started planning about a year in advance, and I honestly can’t say enough about how professional, knowledgeable, customer-service driven, and organized Austin was throughout the entire process.

I was a little nervous about coordinating a trip for such a large group, but Austin made everything seamless and handled each detail efficiently. Thank you, Austin, for making this a truly memorable experience—hands down one of the best trips I’ve ever taken!


First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to be part of this experience. I had some truly wonderful moments reconnecting and bonding with old acquaintances, and I genuinely appreciate the efforts that went into planning the event.

That said, I’d like to share a few thoughts that I hope can be considered for future improvements:

VIP Invitations:
While I understand the intent behind the VIP invitations, I believe the process could have been handled differently. It felt somewhat exclusive in a way that overlooked the diverse ways people contribute. Simply attending the cruise—especially considering it was promoted as a fundraiser—is a form of support, and I believe those individuals should also have been acknowledged. Offering the VIP experience as a paid add-on could have allowed everyone a fair opportunity to participate.

Scheduling & Social Hours:
The social hours were a great idea, but the timing was a bit challenging for many guests. Some were scheduled for early dinners at 5:00 PM, while others had dinner at 7:30 PM, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the social hours scheduled for 6:00 PM. It would be ideal to have social events start after 8:30 PM, allowing all guests to relax and engage without feeling rushed or conflicted with dinner times. Additionally, having all HT guests dine at the same time would enhance the sense of community and togetherness.

HT-Specific Events:
To be honest, the cruise felt more like a regular Royal Caribbean vacation rather than a unique HT experience. More exclusive events for HT guests throughout the cruise would have created a stronger sense of identity and togetherness. The branding of “HT at Sea” suggests a cohesive and interactive experience that fosters connection, and I feel more opportunities to bond would have brought that vision to life.

Communication & Theme Nights:
Lastly, it would have been very helpful to receive more detailed communication from the travel agency ahead of the cruise—especially regarding theme nights. Having this information in advance allows guests to prepare and feel included in the festivities.

Again, I truly value the moments I had and the people I shared them with. My suggestions are offered in the spirit of growth and enhancement for future events, and I look forward to what’s to come.


HT at Sea

I had a great time, relaxing, food was good, ship clean, room accommodation was comfortable, entjoyed the entertainment ,Staff professional, courtesy,knowledgeable. 

We had an awesome time! Everything was great; great food, great accommodations, great entertainment, and great fun! We had so much fun with all the people in our group and others.  I'm looking forward to our next HT cruise!

I describe this trip as a vacation where I not only had a wonderful time, but was also treated as a "VIP" from time of arrival to departure. I look forward to my next trip.
